WHATS INVOLVED
This trip has plenty of interest for everyone. The trip involves three distinctly different provinces in China to include a variety of textile techniques. The trip also includes Xian and the buried army as well as historic Dali and Lijiang, the Dong and Miao villages of Guizhou and ancient Kashgar.

GROUP SIZE and GUIDES
Maximum group size is 12 people.  The group will be escorted by NZ fabric specialist Jean Carbon and local English Speaking guides.   

CLIMATE
The weather in June will be variable with temperatures in the high 20cs in the south west and low 30cs in the far west. We have scheduled this trip for the period just before the onset of the wet period in the south west. Although warm out west in Xinjiang the humidity is very low at this time of the year.

ACCOMMODATION and TRANSPORT
Road transport will be by comfortable air-con coach. Domestic flights are included and Comfortable tourist standard hotels (en suite) on twin share basis.

MEALS- All meals are provided.   We use a variety of restaurants to ensure to include local cuisine.

SIGHTSEEING and ENTRY FEES - are included in the cost.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS - We can assist with international flights.

VISAS - Visas for China is required and can be obtained with our assistance.
